Observers alarmed by family voting surge

Observers from Democracy Volunteers have reported alarming levels of illegal family voting in the Gorton and Denton by-election. They noted that 12% of voters were affected by this practice, which involves individuals influencing others’ votes at polling stations. John Ault, director of Democracy Volunteers, said: “We have seen the highest levels of family voting at any election in our 10-year history of observing elections in the UK.” The report highlighted that family voting occurred in 68% of polling stations, raising serious concerns about electoral integrity.
