Mukund Krishna, the chief executive of the Police Federation, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud. City of London police detained him and two other men during a significant investigation into allegations of fraud related to the national Police Federation of England and Wales. Detective Superintendent James Halkett said that the investigation focuses on claims of abuse of position under the Fraud Act (2006).
